Once upon a time in a small village full of color and life, there was a group of children who played together every day and were good friends. One of these children was a little girl named Niloufar who always loved to hear new and helpful stories.
One morning, Niloufar decided to go to the house of her kind grandmother and ask her to tell a few stories. Grandmother, who always had a warm smile, welcomed Niloufar with open arms and sat her on her knee. Grandmother said, “Dear Niloufar, today I want to tell you three short, helpful stories. Are you ready?”
Niloufar said with excitement, “Yes, Grandmother, I love to hear stories!”
Grandmother began to tell the tales.
The first tale: The Clever Rabbit and the Tricky Fox
Once upon a time, in a green forest, there lived a smart rabbit named Robbie. Robbie always found interesting ways to solve his problems. One day, a tricky fox named Rex decided to fool Robbie so he could catch him.
Rex said to Robbie, “Hello, Robbie! Would you like to come to a big party? There is lots of tasty food there.”
Robbie, who knew Rex always had unkind plans, answered cleverly, “Thank you, Rex! But I am very hungry and I cannot wait. Could you bring a little food from that party for me?”
Rex, who thought he had fooled Robbie, said, “Of course. Wait until I come back.”
When Rex left, Robbie quickly ran to his house and shut the door tight. When Rex came back with empty hands, he understood that Robbie was too smart to fall into his trap.
Grandmother said, “Dear Niloufar, from this tale learn that you should always be careful of tricky plans and solve problems with a clever mind.”
Niloufar smiled and said, “Grandmother, that was so interesting! Now tell the next tale.”
The second tale: The Kind Friend
On a sunny day, a little boy named Amir was playing in his garden. He saw a beautiful flower that looked a little wilted. Amir decided to help the flower become bright again. He gave the flower water and cared for it every day.
A few days later, the flower was bright and beautiful again. Amir was very happy that he had been able to help the flower. He understood that with love and care he can help others and make them glad.
Grandmother said, “Dear Niloufar, this tale shows that love and care for others can bring joy and happiness.”
Niloufar said, “Yes, Grandmother. I always try to help my friends and my family too.”
Grandmother smiled and went on, “That is very good, dear Niloufar. Now listen to the third tale.”
The third tale: The Lucky Duckling
Once upon a time, beside a beautiful lake, there lived a little duckling named Pat. Pat was always curious and loved to learn new things. One day, Pat decided to go on an adventure all by himself.
On the way, Pat met different animals and learned something from each of them. He talked with an old turtle who was very wise, and he learned from her how to stay away from danger. He played with a playful squirrel and learned from him how to find tasty fruit.
When Pat came home, he was very happy that he had learned so many things. He understood that with curiosity and learning he can make his life better.
Grandmother said, “Dear Niloufar, this tale shows that we should always be curious and learn new things. That helps us do well in life.”
Niloufar said happily, “Grandmother, I liked these tales so much. Thank you for always telling me helpful stories.”
Grandmother hugged Niloufar and said, “My dear, always remember that with love, a careful mind, and curiosity you can do well in life and help others.”
Niloufar said with a sweet smile, “I surely will, Grandmother. I always listen to your words.”
The End.
