Once upon a time, in a small town called Shadegan, there was a group of friendly children who always played together. These friends were Milo, Sara, Armin, and Leila. They always found new creative ways to play.
One cold winter day, when shining snow had covered the town, the group looked for a new game. Milo, a brave little boy, came into the playroom with a long rope and said to everyone, “Come on — let’s hold a friendly jump-rope race!”
Sara, a creative, clever little girl, answered with a wide smile, “What a good idea, Milo! Let’s see who can jump rope better.”
Armin, an energetic, hardworking little boy, quickly stepped forward and drew a start and finish line on the ground. “Here is the start and the finish! Whoever can jump the most times on the rope wins.”
Leila, a gentle, kind little girl, said to everyone, “We will all race together, but in the end we are all winners, because playing itself is a contest!”
With those words, the jump-rope race began. Milo was the first to jump onto the rope and made a beautiful jump. Sara tried even harder and made tall jumps on the rope. Armin was always full of energy and jumped on the rope again and again. Leila, with her calm, delighted everyone with every jump she made.
After a while, they were all full of energy, and each one tried to do their best. They enjoyed themselves and their friends, and at the same time they grew stronger in their skills.
After a while, the race ended. All the friends smiled kindly at one another and went back to the playroom together. Milo said, “Today we were all winners, because we played together and had a good time.”
Sara added, “Yes, and because each of us showed our best.”
Armin pointed to the jump rope and said, “I made my best jumps!”
Leila looked at everyone and said, “What matters is that we played together and were happy together.”
The friends shook hands and got busy with another game. They understood that it does not matter who wins. What matters is playing with their friends and making a happy time for one another.
And that is how the winter day in Shadegan came to an end, in a place where the friends were always together and always happy together.
The End.
