In a small, faraway village, life was quiet and close. Young, energetic children lived in this village who always loved adventures and discovering secrets. One of these children was a boy named Leo, who liked to search for ghosts and hidden secrets.
Every night, after the sun went down and the dark nights began, Leo went to the forest with his friends. They looked for ghosts and spirits that people’s legends told about. These children searched together for creatures beyond the ordinary world, and every night they found new, exciting adventures for themselves.
One night, when the moon shone in the sky and the bright stars looked down at the earth, Leo and his friends went hunting for ghosts. They went toward a deeper forest where no one had yet gone. While they looked at the beautiful, pleasant nature around them, they suddenly heard a strange sound from far away.
Leo bravely went forward and came to a big old tree whose roots reached one edge of the forest. He saw something black and huge moving toward them. Leo signaled to his friends so they would all look toward that creature slowly and carefully.
All eyes turned toward the ghost that Leo and his friends were moving toward. They came closer to a black, huge creature that looked like a ghost. But when they reached the closest distance, they saw with surprise that the creature was nothing but a black, lovable cat!
The little black cat turned around herself and looked at the children with sparkling eyes. Leo and his friends looked at one another in wonder. This black cat seemed to want to play with them and show them that there were no scary ghosts or spirits in this forest.
Leo smiled and said, “This black cat is so lovable! We were always looking for ghosts, but we are glad we found a new friend here.”
Leo’s friends all became joyful together and welcomed the black cat too. From then on, Leo and his friends went every night with the black cat on a new search, but this time they looked for new adventures and games with their pretty, lovable friend, the black cat.
And so Leo and his friends found a true friendship with the black cat that no ghost was as huge—or as kind—as this friendship.
The End.
